Great Base to Explore Ponta Delgada

Excellent location and gracious staff

My stay was delightful, thanks to the central location that made exploring Ponta Delgada so convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the daily delivery of bottled water and fresh fruit. The staff, especially General Manager Paulo Botelo, were welcoming and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. However, the breakfast could use improvements, particularly with the scrambled eggs appearing to be made from powder rather than fresh.

Location is top-notch, just a quick walk to the sea and city center. My room had a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a comfy private bathroom. Fitness center was a nice perk for staying active. The staff was really kind, offering local tips and making check-in easy.

However, finding a parking space was a nightmare, often taking a long time after returning from exploring the island.

We cycled and strolled through stunning landscapes, surrounded by lush greens and flowing streams. The hotel is close to great spots, making it easy to explore. Breakfast was decent, but sometimes repetitive. Just a heads-up, it can get a bit noisy at night due to nearby bars.

The only downside was the noise at night from the bars nearby, which was a bit disruptive to our rest.

The location is a game-changer! Easy access to the marina and restaurants. We had a great view of the Atlantic from our Double or Twin Room.
